Det er højtiden, Bing Crosbys juleklassiker "White Christmas" fås som 7" single. Oprindeligt udgivet i 1942 til filmen Holiday Inn, toppede nummeret Billboard-hitlisten i 11 uger.
Sporliste:
Side A
1. White Christmas
Side B
1. It’s Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas
Bought this for my dad who grew up hearing it on the radio, and the warmth of the original 1942 recording comes through beautifully on the 7". Side A alone is worth it, and the label art is a nice touch.
The crackle before the music even starts on this 7" puts me right back in my grandparents' living room. Side A alone makes it worth it, and the label art is a nice little bonus.
Finally got my hands on this 7" single and the crackle as the needle drops is pure nostalgia. Bing's voice fills the room even on my little turntable, and that 11-week chart run suddenly makes total sense.
