Apostrophe(‘) fylder 50!  

Uden tvivl det mest populære album i Frank Zappas katalog, Apostrophe(‘) har konsekvent været en bestseller. Det var Zappas første guldplade i USA og toppede som #10 på Billboard 200-hitlisten. Singlen “Don’t Eat The Yellow Snow” nåede også Billboard Top 100 Hits-listen og toppede som #87. Succesen med Apostrophe(‘) skabte en ny opmærksomhed omkring Zappa, og gennem årene har albummet været det naturlige valg for de fleste, der opdager hans musik.  

Til 50-årsjubilæet har Zappa Records og UMe samlet en 2-LP + 7-tommers udvidet “Yellow Snow” farvet vinyl-udgave med det originale album, der er nymasteret af Bernie Grundman, session-outtakes fra Vault, højdepunkter fra bonusnumrene og en genudgivelse af singlen “Don’t Eat The Yellow Snow”.
