EPMD는 첫 번째 앨범, Strictly Business 를 1988년 6월 7일 Fresh/Sleeping Bag Records와 BCM Records를 통해 발매했습니다. 이 앨범은 Charles Marotta의 스튜디오에서 한 달도 채 안 되는 기간에 녹음되었으며, 힙합의 황금 시대의 청사진이 되었습니다.
