The Cranberries Greatest Hits collection, featuring music from their rise to international fame. Includes hits like “Zombie,” “Dreams,” and “Linger” collected here alongside tracks from their five album & two bonus songs, “New New York” and “Stars.” Available on 2LP black vinyl.
Put "Linger" on the turntable first and the vinyl sounded warmer than the digital versions I've been streaming for years. Having the full ten-year span on two records means I don't have to flip constantly during a listening session.
Zombie sounds enormous on this pressing, the drums hit hard without any crackle. Nice gatefold too, and the track list pulls from all five albums so it plays like a real career overview.
The vinyl itself is quiet — barely any surface noise even on "Zombie," which is usually where pressings show their flaws. Having the five album tracks spread across two LPs instead of crammed onto one makes the whole thing breathe.
