Atlantic Inspelningar

The box set layout makes it easy to jump straight to the deep cuts I hadn't heard before, and the CD transfer holds up well on my old stereo. Three discs of this voice for the price is honestly a steal.

Warm crackle on the older tracks aside, the remastering holds up surprisingly well on my little kitchen speakers. Having all these sides gathered in one box means I finally stopped hunting through playlists.

The CD-only box set keeps things simple, and having so many tracks collected in one place means I finally retired my scratchy old compilations. Percy Sledge's voice comes through warm and unhurried on every disc, which is exactly what I wanted.
