Forty Licks (180g Coloured Vinyl) 4LP

Wasn't sure the coloured vinyl would sound this clean, but side one of disc three is dead quiet with zero surface noise. Having all forty years spread across four LPs instead of crammed onto two makes a real difference on the quieter tracks.

The 180g pressing sounds fantastic, dead quiet between tracks with none of the surface noise I half expected from coloured vinyl. Four LPs of the hits spread out like this beats flipping a single disc every three songs.

Bought this mainly for the coloured vinyl and wasn't disappointed—the four records look great spread out and the 180g weight feels solid in the hand. Only gripe is that a couple of the inner sleeves were a bit tight, but the sound itself is clean across all four LPs.
