Honey" sounds so warm and analog on this 2 LP, and 9th Wonder's drums hit hard without feeling thin. I've spun side one three times already just to catch the little vocal layers underneath.
The pressing itself is dead quiet, no crackle at all, which matters on a record this layered. Side one alone is worth it, with all those little synth details and vocal layers spreading out across the two LPs the way a single disc never could.
Honey" hits completely different on wax — 9th Wonder's drums knock hard and the bass has real weight. Both LPs came flat and quiet, no warp or surface noise at all. Spinning side one with the lights off was the move.
